During 2005-2007, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) retained R.L. Banks and Associates to develop the State of Arizona 2007 Railroad Inventory and Assessment. The purpose of the assessment was to provide an overview of the existing rail network of Arizona, including all Class 1, short line, mining, terminal/switching and tourist operations.
To support this report, over 8000 photographs were taken of Arizona's railroad infrastructure. The following web pages showcase some of these photos. Due to the large volume of photos (and limited server space), not all are shown. It should also be noted that this is a work in progress, so check back for updates.
